Basic Computer Use:
:You heard so much about the marvelous things you can do with a computer
so you went out and bought one. Now you're frustrated and wondering
"...What was I thinking?" So now, who do you call -- Global-Net. In
just six short hours, we'll teach the basic concepts of today's modern wonder.
You'll be surfing the Internet, e-mailing your friends and family and
downloading your favorite photos. This training is offered on an
individual basis at our location in New Hyde Park. The schedule is offered
at your convenience from Monday through Friday 10:00am to 7:00pm and Saturdays
from11:00am to 3:00pm. The individual training is completed over
three, two hours sessions. (For best results, we recommend that you
schedule your sessions to be completed within a 30 day interval.

Microsoft Word:
An
overview of the components of Microsoft Word: Participants learn to create and edit documents; format and
align text; save and retrieve files; search and replace text; check spelling &
grammar; use the thesaurus,
and print your completed document.

Word for Windows
Advanced: Reinforces techniques
learned in the basic use class. Covers the powerful Mail Merge features, how to
create envelopes & mailing labels. Learn to insert & manipulate frames, tables
and graphics. Paragraph styles, bookmarks, hyperlinks, table of contents
are all discussed.
This is a hands-on 2-Hour training class. Cost: $189
Excel for
Windows: Focuses on developing fundamental worksheet skills.
Participants learn to create, save, retrieve, edit and print spreadsheets.
Lessons include formatting text and numeric data; formulas and functions;
creating and printing charts.
This is a hands-on 2-Hour training class. Cost: $189
Databases in Excel:
Learn how to manipulate large clumps of data. Transform your current list
of customer into a real goldmine. Create pivot tables and auto
filters to identify and target your best customers.
This is a hands-on 2-Hour training class. Cost: $189
Microsoft Access:
Discover Microsoft's most powerful tool for creating and customizing database
applications. You'll receive an overview of tables, forms and simple queries.
You'll learn to customize the elaborate templates included with Access to fit
your particular needs. This is not a course for beginners. It
assumes prior knowledge of database use.
This is a hands-on 4-Hour training class (Two, two-hours
sessions) Cost: $349
PowerPoint:
Participants learn to create and edit PowerPoint presentations; Add clipart,
spreadsheets and org charts to your presentations. This hands-on class will
prepare you to create your own professional slides and presentations.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word is required.
